Revit Mechanical Drafter

Location: Denver, CO 80229

Contract to Hire - Full Time - Conversion to Perm

Rate: DOE Hourly W2 $20-23/hr

Revit Designer

Using customer provided specifications, prepare Revit, sales and submittal drawings using the appropriate software tools provided by the Company.

Follow the direction of Revit Lead or Director of Engineering.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

List of the position s essential or most important functions and responsibilities whether performed daily, weekly, monthly, annually or at irregular intervals

Prepare Revit submittal drawings for customer review.

Coordinate project between OVR, customer bid drawings and specifications, dealer cut sheet books to put together accurate drawing set including details and electrical information.

Preparing pre-bid drawings in primarily Revit but also Autocad for clients according to the layouts and specifications and prepare a model as a sales tool that the client can link into the Revit documents in either cad or native Revit.

Prepare a rendering of products so customer can see conceptual plan and product placement.

Continuous improvement of the Revit library.

Regular, reliable and prompt attendance.

Additional Responsibilities

Meet and exceed the customer s expectations while supporting the delivery of a quality product on time Work productively and professionally with all employees.

Accountable for tasks outlined in job description, in addition to new assignments and procedures, and self-developed tasks.

Adjust to changes made in the workplace, including but not limited to processes, procedures, and reporting relationships.

Create drawings for field dimensioning and measurement.

Qualifications Education

Associate's or Bachelor s Degree in Engineering, Mechanical Design, Architecture or related field desired.

Revit Certificate training is a minium.

Experience Minimum six months experience in a drafting or design role.

Language Skills:

Reading, writing, speaking. Include contact with others inside and outside of the company

Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal document.

Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from internal and external customers.

Ability to effectively develop and present information to top management, employees or customer groups.

Technical Skills

Include computer skills

Good analytical and problem solving skills required.

Intermediate computer skills including MS Office products.

Intermediate to advanced skills in Revit.

Ability to analyze technical and numerical information, including blue prints and job specs.

Reasoning Ability Include mathematical skills

Ability to apply basic concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

The Designer will occupy a work cube and will be seated with other team members.

There will be conversations and phone calls occurring in the area.

The Designer will occasionally be on the manufacturing floor.

The manufacturing floor can be dirty, loud, requires safety glasses and is subject to outdoor weather conditions.
