: The Residential Marketing Manager is an essential role in SunPower’s large and rapidly growing residential solar business. You will have an important role in the Residential Marketing Team, supporting SunPower’s nationwide channel program for dealer partners and our direct sales force.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following (other duties may be assigned):
Continuously improve the SunPower sales performance and experience through development of compelling sales tools, and driving their adoption in the field
Develop high quality channel communications for end customers, partners and internal stakeholders – includes dealer newsletter, dealer communications, case studies, customer stories, etc.
Help develop and deliver marketing programs to grow the residential business
Assist in the planning and execution of dealer partner events
Contribute to product and service launch and promotion
Internally champion and represent the voice of our customers (end customers and dealers), leveraging a deep knowledge of customer perspectives and preference
Partner closely with SunPower’s demand generation team to drive aggressive scale in residential customer acquisition, while driving down the cost to acquire those customers
Manage customer offers and promotions to achieve sales goals
Manage the Marketing Resource Center for partners that provides compelling co-branded merchandise, sales tools, and marketing campaigns to drive consumer demand
Track performance of marketing team through dashboards and reporting metrics
RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree and 5 years ofrelated experience
Postgraduate coursework is desirable
OR equivalent combination of education and years of related experience
Bachelor’s degree and 5 years related experience business, marketing or related field
MBA is beneficial but not required
Prior experience within solar, renewable energy, renewables or home products sector is a plus
Experience in marketing supporting consumer facing channel partners and / or a direct sales force
Highly motivated self-starter with demonstrated ability to identify opportunities and independently pursue them in a fast-paced, dynamic marketing environment
Passionate and driven marketing manager with knowledge of cutting edge marketing techniques
Data driven, analytical approach, process oriented, strong attention to details
Strong interpersonal skills; excellent written and oral communications skills; can do attitude
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, digital tools
Up to 20% domestic travel
