The selected candidate will perform as the technical lead of the Low Observables team, within the Special Technologies IPT, within the Integrated Fighter Group (IFG). This includes setting priorities for team activities, assigning tasks, interfacing with the customers and test labs, and overseeing data analysis tasks. The selected Candidate will also serve as a team member to get tasks accomplished.

Candidate must have extensive experience in Indoor, Outdoor and Portable Radar Cross Section (RCS) measurement systems. Proficient at multiple RCS data analysis tools. Function as a F 22 technical lead for a highly motivated diverse RCS organization. Must have extensive experience in analyzing data from complex RCS targets and proficient in presenting and explaining results to a wide range of experience levels from senior leadership to technical experts. Must be experienced in communication / coordination with Government customers.

Activities on the team may include a variety of Radio Frequency (RF), radar, and materials tasks in support of our advanced aircraft. As a member of this dynamic team of highly experienced technical experts, you will conduct Radio Frequency (RF) signal processing algorithm development, data analysis, and exploitation associated with RF sensing activities. You will collaborate with aircraft design, maintenance, and special material experts to identify new approaches to Low Observables Technology as applied to IFG aircraft, and will also work with System Effectiveness subject matter experts to identify approaches for improved aircraft survivability. This position provides a rare opportunity to provide technical leadership to a team of world class experts working on challenging technologies that are critical enablers of our aircraft capabilities.

Must be a US Citizen or legally authorized to work in US as a permanent resident. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Must have existing Secret Clearance.

Basic Qualifications

- Experience in dealing with outside customers

- Experience creating software algorithms from physical descriptions

of phenomena.

- Experience in signal processing for Electromagnetic and Infrared

systems.

- Experience in mathematical modeling of physical systems.

Desired skills

- Electrical Engineering degree preferred

-Previous RF, radar, or LO materials experience is highly desirable.

-Understanding of basic RF principles and the basic physics of

Electro-Optical / Infrared (EO/IR) sensors and observables.

-Computer programming experience and understanding of

analytical/numerical solution of complex systems of equations.

-Experience with Database manipulation and Linux / Windows

Operating Systems.

-Experience working independently and in a team environment.
