We have expertise in primary market research (both qualitative and quantitative methods), secondary research and market and competitive intelligence techniques.Join our team today!Responsibilities:As a Research Manager, you will...Plan, organize, lead and manage complex quantitative and qualitative primary research projects that cross multiple business units and support high-level corporate and business unit initiatives.Utilize secondary research on industry, market and product trends to create multi-source syntheses to support business and marketing strategy developmentAct as a research subject-matter expert for the company, and deliver insights to position Principal as an industry thought leader.Contribute to profitable growth of the company by using research knowledge to support the development of product and service solutions to better understand and serve our markets.Be responsible for corporate balanced scorecard customer metrics, and utilizing research results to promote the Corporate strategy with a market-driven focus .Work closely in a consulting capacity with business leaders and senior executives to use research insights to assist in the creation of business and marketing strategies, including research work to support the global Principal brand.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Master's degree preferred.Minimum 6 years of related experience required.Expertise in advanced quantitative and qualitative research, including survey design and programming, data analysis and interpretation, Insight generation, report writing and presentation of key findings and business implications.Experience in secondary research and multi-source synthesis also strongly preferred.Academic and practical experience with a wide array of new product, brand, advertising, and customer satisfaction research methodologies.Must have a high level of analytic skill including regression analysis, multi-variate analysis, conjoint and other quantitative statistical analytic methods, with the ability to gather and interpret complex data and recommend solutions.Experience managing research vendors strongly preferred.Requires the ability to make decisions and demonstrate problem-solving skills.Strong communication skills and the ability to make effective presentations and tailor communications to different audiences, including global audiences.Knowledge of SPSS required.Business unit and company product knowledge a plus.Must be able to work independently.Ability to lead multiple research projects.Must have good working knowledge of Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.Minimal travel required.Visa Sponsorship:This position is not eligible for sponsorship for work authorization by Principal.
