Who is Georgia-Pacific?Watch to find out!The Regional Sales Specialist is an inside sales role that has responsibility for aligning with a portfolio of strategic and transactional distributors primarily via phone, and other digital paths across multiple locations in The US. The role will require fostering relationships across distributor category managers and sales teams to position Georgia-Pacific as a lead product solution set within the categories we compete. The Regional Sales Specialist will be the primary sales contact responsible for managing their customer portfolio and assigned selling responsibilities to include current business retention, improving and upgrading current product mix and selling in new GP product solutions. The position will be based at GP’s corporate headquarters in Atlanta, GA.A Day In The Life Typically Includes:Develop and build relationships remotely with distributor customers to drive resultsLeverage technology to maximize virtual presence with distributor and end user customersOngoing collaboration with local GP Field Professionals to drive success for the Districts/Regions – an extension of the field sales teamCoordinate/facilitate end-user opportunities to increase GP penetration and sell our value-added products as well as universal product categories where appropriateCommunicating GP Product/Program pricing to customersFacilitating and executing pricing requestsFacilitating sample or test and trial needs for customers to gain new businessFacilitating appropriate training with customers leveraging video conferencing technologiesIntroducing and executing sales and marketing campaigns to qualified customersCommunication of market/Industry newsCoordinate customer or trade show activityFacilitate self-service of GPXpress® to customersPrioritize Accounts and calling cadence to optimize virtual coverageUtilize to capture interactionsIdentify/communicate business/volume shifts ( or -) that may occur as a result of local market dynamicsWhat You Will Need:Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degreeExperience using the Microsoft Office Suite of Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and ExcelWhat Will Put You Ahead?Preferred Qualifications:Inside sales experienceExperience using a Customer Relationship Management tool, such as® Sales or distributor management experience Want to learn more about Georgia-Pacific?Salary and benefits commensurate with experience.We are an equal opportunity employer.
