This involves identifying talent, developing teams, building sales and running great restaurants with high standards, removing obstacles, effectively using resources to improve their market, and providing leadership to their patch and beyond.In addition to following Chipotle’s policies and procedures, principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to:• Identifying potential Restaurateurs and future Restaurateur 2-4s (R s), Apprentice Team Leads (ATLs), and Team Leads (TLs)• Developing a high performing mid-management team (R s, Area Managers, ATLs, and TLs) whose primary focus is to develop Restaurateurs • Ensuring a deep bench of talent for current and future growth• Quickly improving or removing low performers• Motivating, inspiring, and challenging the team to achieve at their highest level• Creating a culture where people act according to the belief that everyone’s success is elevated by the success of those around them• Ensuring that restaurants have excellent service, safety, cleanliness, organization, food quality and ambience• Creating strong financial performance of restaurants• Recognizing adverse trends and teaching the team to react to them quickly and successfully• Setting clear priorities for teams so they can focus on the most important things• Constantly improving all aspects of the business• Building strong relationships with and positively influencing all disciplines (HR, Marketing, Training, Language Development, Facilities, Finance, IT, and their own team); successfully utilizing these disciplines to get things done• Ensuring that tools are being effectively used in the restaurants and providing meaningful feedback to various disciplines to improve tools as needed• Taking control of rollouts and initiatives• Advancing Food With Integrity, sustainability initiatives, and the Chipotle people culture; being an excellent all-around representative of the BrandQualifications: Education/Training• B.A./B.S. in related field or an equivalent in education and experience Knowledge/Skills• Ability to provide helpful ideas and insights to other Team Directors, Regional Directors, and other company leadership• Ability to communicate clearly• Ability to think strategically, and achieve day-to-day results• Ability to learn from others• Excellent knowledge of and commitment to the culture and values of Chipotle• Knowledge of and the ability to use a PC as well as Microsoft Office Suite• Strong command of language and general communication skills• Strong supervisory and organizational skills• Strong leadership skills in conjunction with a commitment to operational and training programs as well as company philosophies and people practices• Demonstrated ability to interact easily with diverse groups of peopleWork Experience• Seven (7) years multi-unit supervisory experience preferred• Local store marketing experience preferredTravel• ExtensivePrimary Location: Massachusetts - Woburn - 99251 - Massachusetts Field Support-(99251)Work Location:99251 - Massachusetts Field Support-(99251)112 Commerce WayWoburn 01801
