culture!Wyndham Vacation Ownership (“WVO”) currently seeks a Director of Human Resources in Sevierville, Tennessee, supporting Sales & Marketing operations in the Smokies, Fairfield Glade and Nashville. This position supports approximately 550 associates and has 2 direct reports. We are looking for someone exceptionally talented and driven to effectively provide progressive support to business partners within the organization. Additionally, this role is responsible for ensuring HR practices are compliant with company policy as well as federal, state and local law. Individual will be responsible for partnering with company leaders on communication and employment practices with a focus on talent strategy, employee engagement, and overall business results. Our Human Resources team partners with our centralized payroll, benefits, recruiting, compensation and Leave Support Center.
Essential Job FunctionsStrategic partnering with business leaders to drive long-term results Provide objective feedback on business initiatives and assist with the development of solutions to support business objectivesLead and/or support the development and implementation of organization-wide initiatives, projects and programsLead a diverse team of HR professionals within a matrix reporting environment in multiple locationsInterpret, advise, coach, and mediate associates at all levels in organizationEffectively investigate, document and apply corrective actions when appropriate for employee complaints.
