Location: Open to major markets within the Mid-Atlantic and Southern States Region What this job entails- The Regional Director of Integrated Portfolio Services (IPS) will have accountability for operational activity within the IPS service line in the Mid-Atlantic and Southern States region including but not limited to new business development, product development, market/region growth and resource/employee management. This individual will be focused on the following JLL IPS service lines: Transaction Management, Occupancy Planning, Lease Administration, and Business Intelligence. The Regional Director will anticipate key stakeholder and prospect needs and provide support to client contacts and other firm leaders so they can outperform on key performance indicators. This individual will help the region build financial plans while striving to exceed revenue and profitability goals. The Regional Director will keep employees engaged and thriving, and in conjunction with the Corporate Solutions leadership team, understands the firm’s strategy and goals and can translate those into the business opportunities. This individual will become a reference for best in class operational support delivery that can be leveraged to expand JLL’s IPS business regardless of whether the service delivery comes from CS or Markets based employees. Responsibilities Drive Growth – 50%
Establishes and conveys an overarching strategy which demonstrates client focus and competitive advantage.
Develops new business opportunities related to large complex IPS opportunities within the region.
Outlines a compelling vision which clearly defines both long and short term goals, then manages to exceed targets.
Ensures solutions development experts know how products/services across IPS can solve customer problems.
Understands the competition & helps develop pursuit strategies to win.
Supports the development of a strong pipeline of new business pursuits.
Assesses profitability and/or cost effectiveness of the IPS service line within the region.
Identifies opportunities to expand service offerings within existing accounts beyond product lines or geography.
Oversees financial management of the IPS service line within the MAST region including A/R, invoicing, reporting and forecasting.
Holds ultimate accountability for the successful financial performance of the IPS service line within the region against established financial goals and targets.
Works with respective Market Directors and CS Business Line Leaders to ensure the successful collaboration.
Accurate plan development and forecasting
Ensure IPS plan for each every account is met or exceeded in both growth and profitability.
Supports strategic target marketing efforts.
Talent Management – 20%
Ensures the best talent and teams are put forth for all pursuits (i.e. CS, Markets or Hybrid).
Advances the firm’s diversity and inclusion priorities by focusing on talent moves, hiring, rotation and promotion.
Builds a platform to develop future talent and support career progression.
Understands the nuances of alternative compensation structures in partnership with HR.
Supports programs that hire and retain the industry's top talent
Accountable for the development of leadership and succession planning for key roles within the IPS service line.
Thoroughly and critically assess all IPS talent in the region.
Leads regional talent reviews in partnership with HR.
Provides point in time coaching to elevate performance.
Assists in training and developing IPS Leaders in the region in the skills and competencies needed to promote their professional growth and advancement.
Works with the managers to ensure that all employees within IPS have actionable and measurable career development plans in place.
IPS Platform – 20%
Drives differentiation of IPS product; creates a culture of innovation
Brings to the organization any leading IPS practices and/or innovations developed within the region.
Launch new products, tools, and technology based on a financially sound foundation.
Maintains a program to collect and disseminate best practices to drive superior service delivery throughout the organization.
Client Management – 10%
Holds secondary responsibility for the execution of quality client relationship management for assigned region.
Executes the vision and strategic direction, and ensures quality delivery for the IPS service line across the MAST region, and is a strong steward of operational excellence.
Partners successfully with the account management team to drive the IPS plan to deliver high quality results which exceed the client’s expectations.
Build and maintains client relationships as well as expands our role with existing clients
Recognizes opportunities for growth, articulates the value proposition and ensures its implementation across the service line.
Job RequirementsEducationPreferred level of education is an MBA or MS in a financial related field Experience
10 years of strong operational experience in a client-focused environment
Significant experience in building, analysing and executing models to help influence and support financial decisions, policies and processes
Extensive experience strategizing, evaluating, and executing complex real estate transactions
Proven capabilities in developing and selling solutions for global, Fortune 500 companies
Demonstrated ability to partner with leaders in a complex matrixed environment
Demonstrated experience in establishing standard processes and managing performance to achieve key metrics
Significant experience or demonstrated capability in leading teams in complex and dynamic environments
Good understanding of the real-estate industry is key
Sales mindset – driven towards winning with high energy and a strong work ethic
Strong financial/business acumen to understand/provide context of decisions as they relate to corporate real estate budgeting, forecasting, planning and scheduling
Excellent internal and external customer service delivery
