POSITION INFORMATION Role SummaryAlaska is looking for a Recruiting Coordinator to support our recruiters and provide an unmatched candidate experience. This is the perfect position for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment, is a master juggler, and has strong attention to detail. Scope & Complexity This position supports recruiting activities for Alaska Air Group (AAG) and its subsidiaries. Key Duties Plans and coordinates hiring activities. Communicates directly with applicants through the interview and post offer processes. Works closely with hiring managers and recruiters to schedule interviews. Coordinates and administers group screening process. Communicates with applicants and finalists to extend updates or regrets. Arranges travel for applicants. Represents Alaska Airlines in a positive and enthusiastic manner. Maintains the applicant tracking system and reports. Attends outreach and recruiting events with the Recruiting team. Job-Specific Skills (years of experience, key knowledge, skills & abilities) A minimum of 3 years of experience in service-related, public contact position is preferred. Demonstrated intuitive and discernment skills are required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Exceptional customer service skills are required. Ability to support moderate travel is required. Demonstrated attention to detail and organizational skills are required. Job-Specific Leadership Expectations Embody the Alaska Spirit and conduct oneself with Professionalism, Integrity, Resourcefulness and Caring Education A Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science degree is preferred.
