Recruiting Manager, Inc. - Washington, DC

Job Overview: As a Manager of Recruiting for Macy's, you will be responsible for managing the full cycle recruitment process for our Blue Mercury team. The Manager of Recruiting plays a critical role in seeking top talent for our organization, leading the candidate experience, and providing recruitment consultation to our business partners. Perform other duties as assigned. This position is based out of Washington D.C. Essential Functions: • Manage the end to end recruitment process including sourcing, researching, and recruiting talent up until time of offer. • Understand market and labor conditions and trends that impact the candidate pipeline. • Develop a recruitment strategy and partner with hiring managers to identify and attract top external talent for current and future needs. • Manage candidate relationships throughout the recruitment process and ensure a best in class candidate experience. • Maximize recruiting tools such as CRM (Avature), LinkedIn Recruiter, and Taleo. • Provide a slate of qualified, high caliber and diverse candidates for all positions within outlined delivery dates. • Maintain a consistent, credible presence within social media and community outreach to assure constant flow of passive & active talent. • Establish, cultivate, and maintain ongoing strong working relationships with the HR Business Partners (HRBP's) in order to understand the business unit/its recruitment needs and to create a partnership that ensures a seamless hiring process. • Attend job fairs, conferences and other networking events to build relationships, identify talent and develop an understanding of the employment market. • Regular, dependable attendance & punctuality. Qualifications: Education/Experience: • Bachelor Degree required. • 2-5 years of experience in full lifecycle corporate recruiting, (fashion / retail experience is preferred). Communication Skills: • Persuasive, confident and clear communicator with excellent interpersonal skills. • Ability to build partnerships at levels of the organization. • Must have a talent advisor mindset with an emphasis on building relationships and impacting the business. • Impactful communication style, emotional intelligence, and intellectual curiosity. Mathematical Skills: • Must have above average mathematical skills, including the ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages, and the ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Reasoning Ability: • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workflow in a fast paced environment. Physical Demands: • Involves extended periods of sitting and the extensive use of computer and the office equipment. • May involve stooping, kneeling, or crouching. • Involves close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Other Skills: • Working knowledge of recruiting tools such as Avature, LinkedIn, Taleo, Indeed, and other social media platforms. • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
