Recruiting is a core strategic lever of Facebook. The ability to find, attract and engage with best-in-class talent is critical to the continued success of our business. In order for Recruiting to be successful and effectively carry out its strategic mission, Recruiters, Sourcers and Coordinators must be equipped to implement the Recruiting Solutions (tools and processes) that have been put in place to improve their efficiency and effectiveness. Recruiting Learning & Development (rL&D) is looking for a Recruiting Instructional Designer to lead the design of training related to Recruiting Solutions, the ultimate goal being improving tool /process uptake and proficiency. This position will be responsible for partnering closely with Recruiting leadership, PMO, and those embedded in Recruiting teams who are responsible for the uptake of Recruiting Solution (Change Champions, In Team Trainers, Tools POCs). This is a full-time position based in Menlo Park.

Responsibilities Stay apprised of forecasted Recruiting Solutions and their associated release schedule

Develop an overarching tools training strategy that will maximize Recruiting Solutions adoption, leveraging a blended learning approach of classroom/virtual classroom, on demand learning, on-the-job training and coaching. Included in the strategy will be an approach for measuring tool and process proficiency (knowledge, skills)

Estimate the change impact of new or modified Recruiting Solutions. Based on this assessment, lead the design of structured learning pathways that enable the target audience to understand the change, the reasoning behind it, and to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to implement it. Intuitively sequence training modules that are role / process specific and that enable learners to gain new skills through formal training, practice, on-the-job experience and coaching. To the degree possible, learning pathways should be structured, interactive routes, chosen by learners, to progressively build on tools / process knowledge and skills

Implement leading instructional design approaches for new and existing programs

Structure and build an easy to navigate Recruiting Solutions-specific on demand learning library

Monitor Recruiting Solutions uptake and triage additional training solutions when necessary

Continue to look for and implement methods for testing target audience tools / process knowledge and skills

Minimum Qualifications 2 years designing and developing tools and process training

2 years designing and developing tools and process training that leverages on demand delivery methods

Preferred Qualifications 3 years designing and developing tools and process training

3 years designing and developing tools and process training that leverages on demand delivery methods

2 years designing and developing simulation training interventions
