SUMMARY:

The Recruiting Coordinator is an integral role supporting the Recruiting function and contributing to the overall success of the Recruiting team. This key role is responsible for providing a high level of customer service, administrative support, and project coordination for the recruiting and human resources teams. This position will utilize superior communications skills and professionalism to coordinator the recruiting process from start to finish.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Responsible for posting all open positions in the company’s applicant tracking system and ensuring all applicants are being tracked in the system

Coordinate the interviewing process, including scheduling in-person and phone interviews for recruiters and hiring managers and scheduling all meetings (including debrief meetings) as part of the recruiting process

Process background checks, monitor results and updates recruiters on progress

Responsible for monitoring the recruiting e-mail address and voicemail system, responding to candidate and vendor inquiries and forwarding information to the appropriate person or team in a timely manner

Maintain and organize offer packets, requisition forms and employment applications

Responsible for gathering and monitoring paperwork for all new hires and internal transfers

Provide follow-up correspondence to candidates on recruiting status via phone and e-mail

Provide support for undergraduate and graduate recruiting programs, including but not limited to signing up for campus events, preparing career fair giveaways, posting jobs on college websites, event registration and other program components

Maintain agency agreements and partner with corporate to update the agency spreadsheet

Process reimbursements for candidate travel expenses

Create, manage and maintain all reports associated with the applicant tracking system

Research and gather information on job posting sites; analyze and summarize results for the Recruiting team

QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to work with functional groups and different level of employees throughout the American Tower organization to effectively and professionally achieve business results

Strong follow-up skills; ability to organize applicable department timelines and follow up with internal and external customer needs as needed

Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively

Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast paced environment

Strong track record of building and maintaining solid relationships with both internal and external customers and vendors.

Self-motivated, able to work both independently to complete tasks and respond to department requests as well as collaborating with others to utilize resources and knowledge in identifying high quality solutions

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience

One to three years Human Resources and/or recruiting experience preferred

Intermediate to advanced experience with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)

Experience with an applicant tracking system preferred

ENVIRONMENT:

Approximately 100% performed in climate-controlled internal office environment working under normal office conditions. Approximately 0-5% travel may be required in support of the position’s responsibilities.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers to feel and handle, reach with arms and hands, talk and hear. While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently is required to stoop, kneel and crouch, lift weight or exert a force up to a maximum of 25 pounds.
