Visiting Nurse Association of Chittenden and Grand Isle Counties provides compassionate, community-based care through a range of programs that span a lifetime. Our clients rely on the medically-complex care and support we provide and the need for our programs is growing rapidly.

The Nurse provides skilled nursing care to adults with complex medical conditions. This role works in conjunction with the established plan of care including ongoing assessments of the patient’s physical and patient’s/family’s psycho/social health status. Skills may include ventilator monitoring and care, tracheostomy care, use and care of feeding tubes and administration of medications. We will train the right candidate.

We hire committed, professional nurses who have a passion to help others achieve the best quality of life possible. With support from our community, the VNA provides medically necessary home care to individuals and families regardless of their ability to pay. We do what we do because we want to make a positive impact on those we care for and our community at-large. Our culture values accountability, excellence, compassion, integrity and service to others.
