Job Responsibilities:

Develops and improves RF Communication System Architectures then helps the team implement the architecture

Writes, validates and verifies requirements for new developments efforts

Leads and/or contributes to small to medium development efforts

Supports current RF installations domestically and internationally, either remotely or on-site

Tests and debugs communications equipment including but not limited to Antennas, Radios, Control Circuitry, and Voice Switches

Follows Rockwell Collins ethics and business standards

Required Experience:

5 years’ experience working as RF Engineer, preferably in a communications field

Strong hands-on operation, test of RF equipment experience

Working knowledge of communications links budgets, theory and effects of noise, modulation techniques, and radio architecture

Ability to travel (

Education Requirement:

Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline; identified skills and experience

Desired Experience:

Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering

Knowledge of current data networking topologies, equipment, protocols
