**A Day in A Life**

The Engineer’s primary responsibilities will consist of the following:

·Utilize an understanding of physiological and aortic disease state conditions to develop aortic implant use conditions;

·Implement durability approaches, including predictive engineering, test to failure, and regulatory requirements, to assess device performance;

·Prepare protocols, execute, analyze data and prepare reports;

·Utilize advanced engineering principles to design, develop, build and execute new test methods and equipment;

·Work independently and collaboratively with a team of experienced personnel and with cross-functional product development teams to help bring products to market;

·Provide technical input supporting submissions to regulatory bodies and governmental agencies.

**Must Have**

Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 0 years of experience

Is A Bachelor's Degree Required? Yes

**Nice to Have**

Degree in engineering field (Mechanical, Materials, Biomechanical, or Biomedical) or equivalent

Able to execute effectively and work efficiently;

Experience in medical device testing and test method development preferred;

Durability testing experience a plus;

Nitinol experience a plus, including design, processing, testing;

Demonstrated use of engineering and scientific principles, mechanical design and prototyping;

Computer proficiency and the ability to perform word processing, create spreadsheets, and develop mechanical designs;

Solidworks expertise a plus;

Labview expertise a plus;

Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

Ability to work with others from a technical perspective while building a collaborative work environment.
