The Radiologic Technologist, under the supervision of the Director of Radiology/Respiratory and Medical Director of Radiology, performs diagnostic radiology procedures provided by the department. The Radiologic Technologist demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care. The Radiologic Technologist may handle human blood and other potentially infectious and/or hazardous materials, which may result in possible exposure to blood borne pathogens and/or harmful elements. The Radiologic Technologist has the responsibility for the

assessment, treatment, and care of the patients assigned in the following age groups: infant, pediatric, adolescent and geriatric.


Current Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) required, Fluoroscopic Radiologic Technologist Certificate (Fluoro License) required,

Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification preferred

. Current BCLS (within 30 days of employment) required.

Must have a full command (verbal and written) of the English language. Possesses the physical abilities, including heavy lifting, and perceptive acuity, e.g., visual, hearing, to satisfactorily perform all direct and indirect patient care functions.
