SUMMARY

The Quality Lead is primarily responsible for supervising inspection activities to ensure proper inspector coverage of all production processes, and timely and accurate completion of reports.

All job responsibilities are to be performed in strict adherence with the company’s Mission/Values Statement and its Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensures all production lines manufacturing inspection activities are sufficiently staffed and carried out effectively.

Ensures timely and accurate reporting of inspection processes.

Report quality data from production processes. Track/Monitor Key Performance Indicators for site.

Supervises and conducts daily in-process inspections on each line

Peer trainer for new quality operators assigned to the line to ensure safety, quality, and production requirements are understood and ensures new operators demonstrate proficiency

Contributes to the development of work instructions and procedures for inspection processes.

Ensures that all aspects of the Quality Policy and Objectives are understood and enacted.

Participates in regularly scheduled staff meetings.

Participates in and satisfactorily completes all required training programs for the assigned position.

Creates and submits FAIs to the customer.

Manages Returns from end users and works with customer on proper disposition of each item.

Performs a variety of miscellaneous tasks as requested from time to time by management representatives

Required Skills

SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual

Skill in verbal and written communication, forward and progressive thinking, and problem analysis and resolution

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence

Ability to physically count articles or products on shelves, racks and pallets

Adept with basic mathematical calculations, and preparing written operational reports

Required Experience

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma.

Minimum 1 to 2 years related production, warehouse and/or distribution center experience.

1 year of leadership experience preferred.

Experienced with applicable safety regulations.

Ability to lead and train a high performance team and achieve results and team goals.

Carry out responsibilities while upholding our values and ethics.

Operate a personal computer and job related software.

Ability to work flexible schedule to include weekends if business require it.
