Responsibilities:

Subject matter expert within a functional tower owning and managing process, systems, and data within the tower

Lead and support process development and implementation from conception through to design, to implementation to pilots and final hand over to sustaining.

Perform current state vs desired state gap assessment by conducting time & motion studies, process mapping exercises. Identify opportunities to streamline processes using lean methodologies

Execute testing strategies and plans

Diagnose and evaluate performance (cost, quality, customer experience) and define process capabilities and standards (Cp, Cpk)

Be the Process Champion and liaison with cross functional suppliers of input into process development and implementation

Get stakeholder and executive buy in for new process implementation or existing process change with compelling business case/need and necessary detail around process maps and project plans. – PL; PE can build the business case

Establish the Governance structure around process adherence and execution KPIs. – PL

System Design including aspects of: Design, Functional analysis, Modelling and Simulation, Solution Trade-Offs, Integration & Test, Verification, Validation and Transition to Operation

Systems Engineering Management, including: Lifecycle Process Definition; Planning, Monitoring and Control, including tailoring of generic processes, the identification, assessment, analysis and control of risks, and monitoring & control of progress

The application of the fundamental concepts of systems thinking to systems engineering. These include: understanding what a system is; its context within its environment; its boundaries and interfaces; its lifecycle and an appreciation of the role the system plays in the super system of which it is a part

Partner with E2E systems engineers and peer engineers from other functional towers to ensure E2E sanctity of the process pan-GSD

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or related Engineering field required; MBA is a plus

2-3 years of experience in developing, maintaining and/or managing complex systems/programs with holistic scope

Experience with design and analysis tools, such as: SPC (statistical process control); design of experiments: process capability studies; Six Sigma is a plus

Prior experience in leading process improvement projects and driving/ participating in Value Stream Mapping exercises and / or Kaizen events required

Green/ Black Belt Certification is a plusrequired

A demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team while providing task oriented direction to others in order to complete projects within required timeframes

Fine attention to detail along with ability to self-regulate, self-motivate and self-prioritize

Exemplary communication and organization skills

Adept at building liaisons while work cross functionally with other organizations

Drive Results, Influential Skills & Programs to closure; Cross functional Collaboration
