Reporting Information/Location

The Quality Control Supervisor position is located at our Ohio facility.

Responsibilities:

Under general direction of the Sr. Quality Manager, responsible for the overall integrity of the quality system at the DC. This position is categorized as compliance critical and, as such, requires and is assigned specific responsibility for ensuring continual and proper compliance with all division, corporate and regulatory requirements.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

Monitors the workflow, motivates and assist with training the Quality Coordinators (when applicable) to ensure quality is upheld.

Audits work processes and makes suggestions for modifications in order to increase and improve productivity, efficiency and quality.

Daily activities will include but not limited to: batch processing, label and packing, environmental monitoring, training of specific procedures.

Supports compliance with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules and regulations.

Ensures the maintenance of highly detailed GMP documents.

Must be willing to work extended hours, as needed, in order to meet goals.

Assist with client audits and audit reports.

Performs related duties as assigned.

Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education. Normally requires a minimum of two (2) years directly related and progressively responsible experience.

Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

Good decision making skills

Good analytical skills

Good leadership skills

Good interpersonal skills

Working knowledge of ABC warehouse operations

Strong organizational skills; attention to detail

Knowledge of computers to operative effectively with Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel

Physical activity requiring reaching, sifting, lifting, finger dexterity, grasping, feeling, repetitive motions, talking and hearing.

When working directly with or filling in for warehouse associates, physical activity requires pulling, pushing, carrying; ability to lift up to 45 lbs; may be required to operate a forklift.

Visual requirement is for close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.

25% or more time is spent looking directly at a computer.

Associate is frequently required to stand, walk (or otherwise be mobile).

Ability to deal with stressful situations as they arise.

Must be able to use IR Scanner and wrist mounted controller unit and infra red reader on index finger.

Must be able to use a computer and read from screen.
