Quality Compliance Manager-Healthcare Regulatory

The purpose of this position is to oversee regulatory

compliance and manage EHS ( Environmental, Health & Safety) programs to ensure

compliance with Department of Health (DOH) and Centers for Medicare and

Medicaid Service (CMS) for environment of care relative to a large healthcare



Provides guidance and expertise for regulatory compliance

relative to environment of care and manages programs to ensure compliance with

Department of Health (DOH) and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Service


Works with various internal

stakeholders and local municipalities as well as surveyors for compliance as

well as corrective action where needed.

Manages EHS programs and initiatives to meet regulatory

requirements and EHS needs of a client account(s).

Evaluates new and existing programs to assess

suitability and the need for changes.

Monitors injury, illness, and incident related performance

within the account, market area, or other assigned area of responsibility.

Monitors performance for trends or other

indicators of improving or degrading incident performance and develops and

implements strategic solutions that will improve the performance results as


Oversees EHS plans, playbooks, and procedures for the

account, market area, or assigned area of responsibility. Ensures information

is current, complete and effectively implemented.

Monitors EHS regulatory compliance within the account, market area, or assigned area of

responsibility. Communicates all

findings, concerns, and deficiencies to the responsible managers to effect

timely and necessary corrections.


in the development and implementation of strategic solutions that will support

management's efforts to improve and maintain compliance as required.

Promotes safety consciousness among employees by providing

accurate and informative data, conducting safety meetings, giving timely

feedback, on safety suggestions and visibly supporting the safety program(s). Ensures all training required by Client and

CRRE is completed timely

Bachelors degree and 5 years related experience.

Candidate must have a demonstrate command of Physical

Environment and Life Safety code.

Ability to interpret regulation and

write policy.

Demonstrated skills in Emergency Management planning,

training and program management preferred.

Position requires close

cooperation and coordination with Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity


Working knowledge of Incident Command System (ICS), National

Incident Management System (NIMS), and Standardized Emergency Management System


Ability to work with local municipalities and governing agencies.
