About the Role:In this position, you will work in a fast paced software quality assurance environment and will work directly with mainframe applications.  You will support quality assurance for our clients, who include some of the largest lenders in the United States.  In this hands-on technical quality assurance role, you will help Fiserv to deliver the next generation lending experience for our clients. We are looking for an individual contributor with a passion for software quality and a drive for results with a proven track record.  The candidate will be involved in the full software development life cycle with primary focus on developing test plans, test scripts and automated testing.   About our Business: Join Us! This minimizes lending risk, improves customer satisfaction, enhances cross-sell opportunities, introduces new products more quickly, and facilitates compliance with regulatory requirementsProduct Details:   LoanServhttps://www.fiserv.com/processing-services/lending-solutions/loanserv.aspxReporting Relationships: Reports To:  Quality Assurance ManagerPeers:  Quality Assurance Tech Lead, Quality Assurance Analysts, Business Analysts, Software DevelopersDirect Reports:  NAEssential Job Responsibilities:          Define, develop, review and execute test plans based on software project specifications        Perform defect testing of production support or project issues corrected by the development team        Participate in project walk thru meetings and learn/study upcoming changes to prepare in advance for enhancements to testing practices and procedures (Manual/Automated)        Create and Maintain detailed user level documentation for all processes        Identify high impact areas of product quality and determine solutions for minimizing riskAdhere to all CMMI standardsWork collaboratively with team members and cross-functional team to perform impact analysis and root cause analysis; remove team impediments and respond to QA questionsMust have a positive attitude and be a self-starter and willing to work independently and learn·        Creative problem-solving ability, allowing the individual to identify solid solutions to challenging business issues·        An passion for success and willingness to go above and beyond to accomplish goalsThe above statements are intended only to describe the general nature of the job, and should not be construed as an all-inclusive list of position responsibilities.Required Qualifications:         A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Computer Science or equivalent education in a related discipline is required or equivalent Experience  2-5 years of software industry experience, either as a developer or QA analyst or BAAbility to write detailed test plan, test scripts and document and track defectsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience working with remote teamsIn depth knowledge of software development lifecyclesStrong team player yet able to work with minimum supervisionPreferred Qualifications:·         Experience using Visual Studio Test Professional for automation of test cases·         Experience with Web Service tools such as SoapUI/Eclipse, SoapSonar or Postman·         Experience with Microsoft Test Manager or QTP·         Experience with automation testing and creation of automated test scripts·         Experience dealing with 3rd party integration partner testing·         Experience working on a Mainframe·         QA certifications·         International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB)·         Certified Software Tester (CST)·         Certified Software Tester Associate (CSTA)Actual experience working for a Financial Institution / Loan Servicer or Strong Mortgage Industry knowledgeTravel Required:·         10-20 % Travel Required
