Works effectively in a fast-paced, customer-oriented, team laboratory environment to analyze raw materials and packaging materials in the Raw Material Laboratory. This is in support of the company's quality program in the chemistry laboratory. Performs, documents, record checks, and troubleshoots qualitative or quantitative assays on samples using techniques that vary from use of standard laboratory equipment to highly modern and automated instrumentation. Interprets and evaluates data in terms of accuracy, precision, trends, and potential GMP impact and recommends appropriate corrective action where necessary. Participates in laboratory investigations as required. Occasional overtime as required to meet supply and customer needs.This position is part of a career pathrogression. If you are already on the career pathrogression and you are selected for the position, you will transfer laterally with no grade change if the position was posted at your current grade. This will necessitate you to re-post your resume in order to be considered an applicant for the updated position.•Analyze raw materials and packaging samples via various analytical methods, such as Wet Chemistry, Physical Testing, GC, LC, Spectroscopy, AA, ICP, and IR.•Performs, documents, record checks, and troubleshoots qualitative or quantitative assays on samples using techniques that vary from use of standard laboratory equipment to highly modern and automated instrumentation.•Interprets and evaluates data in terms of accuracy, precision, trends, and potential GMP impact and recommends appropriate corrective action where necessary.•High productivity and the ability to multi-task coupled with a low error rate and attention to detail are critical characteristics of this position.•Support of site initiatives such as Data Integrity and system improvements.QUALIFICATIONSAAS, BA/BS, or MS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related science with a minimum of 2 years related experience in Quality Operations preferred.NON STANDARD WORK SCHEDULEThis position may require the colleague to work extended hours, weekends, and/or holidays to meet business or customer needs.Sunshine ActPfizer reports payments and other transfers of value to health care providers as required by federal and state transparency laws and implementing regulations.
