QC INSPECTOR PRIMARY DUTIES Perform daily tool inspections to ensure that customer specifications and expectations are met. Perform incoming inspection of customer tools Create Inspection documentation for customer tools as needed Perform documented random first article inspections to ensure machinists are checking their parts properly Perform final inspection of parts before they leave the shop to ensure that conformance to print and customer specification is maintained Assist with Nonconformance reporting as needed Assist with Corrective and Preventive Action assessments and follow-up activities Assist with HS&E facility assessments and upgrades as needed Maintain a neat and orderly work area Requirements Able to Create and/or Modify Microsoft Office Documents (including entering formulae as applicable) Repeatable Measurement with Dial Calipers, OD and ID Micrometers, Bore Gages, Thread Depth Gages, API Box and Pin Taper Gages and other measuring instruments as required.
