Our Project Specialist position is a chance for a rewarding career in the Wholesale Distribution Industry.The OpportunityYou will have an opportunity to perform order entry of job lot purchase orders and provide order acknowledgements to customers, coordinate fixture package and gear releases, provide various reports to customers from Project Manager software throughout the project period. You will also apply job lot billing to current lighting projects; monitor job folders for successful completion and close out. You will also have the opportunity to update shipping schedules to customers: expedite orders, drawings, and follow-ups, address change orders with suppliers and customers, process supplier debit memos, and clear customer invoice deductions as they relate to job lots. This opportunity will also enable you to Perform Returned Goods process for project orders; file and complete freight claims in a timely manner.The RequirementsA college degree and/or equivalent experience in progressive customer service or related experience is preferred. The ideal candidate must have a broad knowledge of lighting product lines and services with the ability to make presentations to customers. The ideal candidate must be able to handle a variety of customer situations with enthusiasm and tact, demonstrable skill at handling and resolving customer complaints, excellent communication skills and the ability to work with all levels of employees and management, both internally and externally. The ability to use Graybar Project Manager software at a proficient level is preferred.','!*!

Perform order entry of job lot orders, including order acknowledgements to customers.

Coordinate fixture package and gear releases, including expediting of drawings and approvals, updating shipping schedules to customers, expediting deliveries with suppliers and coordinating warehouse deliveries to ensure on time performance.

Execute accurate job lot billing to customers utilizing software and process supplier invoices on projects for payment.

Pro-actively produce various reports to customers and suppliers from project software throughout project period.

Other duties as assigned.

RequirementsMinimum Job RequirementsNo experience required:  Entry level positionHigh school diploma or GED required

Preferred Job Requirements2-3 years experience preferred:  Some customer service experience in a related electrical industry preferredFour-year degree preferred
