Project Manager/Project Manager, Sr.HealthCore, Inc., a health services research firm, is seeking a Project Manager/Project Manager, Sr. for its national Integrated Research Network® to join our dynamic company in our Wilmington, DE; Andover and Watertown, MA; or Alexandria, VA office.  Founded in 1996, and now an independently-operating subsidiary of Anthem, Inc., HealthCore provides the health care system, biopharmaceutical industry, academia, and the Federal Government with \real-world\ data to improve the quality, safety, and affordability of healthcare. HealthCore’s projects range from retrospective to large-scale, prospective studies in the areas of drug, vaccine, and medical device safety surveillance, risk management, pharmacoepidemiology, health outcomes, pharmacoeconomics, and comparative effectiveness research. The Project Manager/Project Manager, Sr. will be responsible for optimization and documentation of project plans, coordination and sequencing of tasks for a large multi-faceted team, alignment of activities and travel within budgets, and tracking and maintenance of timelines and the overall efficiency of projects from beginning to end.  This position requires the ability to manage multiple projects of varying sizes and duration, including large projects from a global perspective that incorporate both the business and technical aspects of the project.  A key role for this position will be collaborating in strategic planning and actively participating on the business unit leadership team.Responsibilities
Provides strategic counsel on all communication format best practices and tactics that align with project objectives/goals. Collaborates in the development of communication strategy and planning for assigned projects. Develops functional specifications and requirement documents. Develops and manages project timelines.  Collaborates with subject matter experts, internal and external staff, designers and writers to ensure functional specifications and document requirements are met. Prepare communication/project materials for non-technical audience.  Drafts and maintains project budgets. 
Applies projectmanagement knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to project deliverables, processes, and systems, coaches and mentors project team members; defines, recommends and secures contractual agreements for services and products; coordinates requirements, schedules implementation and post-implement plans, and collaborates in the development of service-level agreements for providers and other partners on a national and global basis; maintains project systems and identifies and reports on project metrics; defines quality gates for each project methodology phase;defines critical success factors;  and establishes and manages the project warranty  period as assigned.

Job Requirements
This position requires a BA/BS in a related field. Masters or doctoral level degree or relevant education in health sciences and/or equivalent training in epidemiology, biostatistics, health services research, or a related field, is preferred.  Minimum 3 years (5 years for Sr. level) professional project management experience required during which at least 2 years (3 years for Sr. level) leading and directing project tasks, or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.
