We are seeking a Project Manager, responsible for supporting Government Property projects by planning, executing, and finalizing various projects from beginning to end, and according to strict deadlines and budget.

Responsibilities

Define, develop, and implement all aspects of the project management plan in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders

Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents

Negotiate with other department managers for the acquisition of required personnel from within the company and determine and assess need for additional staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate recruitments if necessary during project cycle

Identify problems and obtain solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual or technical specifications

Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel and identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team

Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans

Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely manner

Coordinate cross-functional teams through meetings and progress measurement activity which bring distinct, specific projects to completion both on time and within budget

Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations to the customer and business unit on a regular basis; track project milestones and deliverables

Monitor adherence to plans and schedules, establish priorities among assigned projects and forewarn personnel of upcoming projects and events

Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management

Education / Certification

High school diploma or equivalent is required.  Bachelor’s degree in business management is preferred

PMP certification required

Knowledge / Experience

At least five years of experience in project management required.

FAR and DFARS background is strongly preferred

SAP ECC background is strongly preferred

Experience with Department of Defense, Manufacturing and/or construction management preferred

Ability to obtain a Security Clearance may be required depending on assigned program 

This position may be filled at a higher grade based on the successful applicant's skills, education and experience.

Due to the nature of our work qualified candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
