You are responsible for

We challenge you to support the Philips’ as a Project Manager. Project Managers lead and direct teams accountable for achieving project objectives, effective integration of new systems and technologies, meeting time and budget requirements, directing all project resources in accordance with guidelines, in order to realize the desired business goals for the project(s) while driving strong customer satisfaction. Determines project risks, defines corrective action and tracks the projects to closure. Keeps abreast of technical developments in own field through literature, technical contacts, and industry competition.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

Formulates the project plan, in accordance with the goals and timing, as defined by contract; specifies the staffing of the project, resources required, anticipated costs, risk assessment and quality standards to be used;

Manages the overall customer satisfaction by balancing scope, pricing, and scheduling decisions with what was purchased and forecasted;

Controls the project budget and project progress, evaluates all project initiatives as to feasibility, takes corrective actions when necessary and generates adequate reporting;

Leads the project, within the project budget in terms of quality, customer satisfaction, time, information and organization, monitoring progress and managing external resources where appropriate;

Ensures appropriate communication between implementation team members and the overall O2C to ensure success, efficiency and risk mitigation;

Directs project team members and gives them operational guidance;

Creates and executes explicit action plans that satisfies both customer and business goals;

Works collaboratively with implementation teams;

Support overall Advanced Manufacturing goals and objectives

Support long term vision of each SRC Manufacturing site (RIGA, RSZ, RIMR, and RIST)

The Sleep and Respiratory Care (SRC) Core Technology Group, based in Monroeville Pennsylvania, is responsible for the research, development and production support of key technology areas that are applicable across multiple businesses within Sleep and Respiratory Care. The technology areas include (but are not limited to) flow generation, connectivity, power, humidification, and materials & finishing. These technologies are shared across the business for product solutions, encompassing CPAP, invasive and non-invasive lung ventilation, secretion management, oxygen delivery and other aspects of respiratory care in hospital, skilled care facilities and home environments. The technology research activities are guided by the long term business needs to drive future growth.

Skills and experience

Relevant BA/BS degree with 3-5 years project management work experience;

Technical PM/Engineering background preferred

Up to 35% travel, possibly international

PMP certified or working towards certification preferred;

Proficient knowledge of the healthcare environment and healthcare implementation methodologies;

Effective in facilitating and motivating collaboration, agreement, and commitment among diverse groups;

Strong verbal and written communication skills with all levels internally and externally.
