PURPOSE: To work on Automation customer projects from start to finish. Manage all day to day transactions between engineering and build team to ensure on-time shipments and high customer satisfaction. 

JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES):

Perform work as a project manager in the Automation Division

Interact with customers during all phases of the design process, build, and during post sale completion

Interact with internal design, engineering, application, and service teams.

Evaluate systems for quality improvements and cost reductions

Implement design changes and product enhancements as required

Handle SAP Bill-of-Material duties

May be assigned tasks other than those listed to meet Division objectives

Embrace being the ‘voice’ of the customer to our internal organization with uncompromising attitude toward customer service

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

BS degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Minimum 3-5 years engineering, design, or project experience

Minimum 1-3 years in customer facing role

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proficient in MS Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint; as well as SAP

Ability to lead others

Knowledge of various arc welding, cutting processes and procedures are preferred

Must be highly motivated, creative and quality conscious

Ability to work with all levels of the organization and external customers

Must have proven ability to work well independently, as well as part of a group

Willing to travel as needed, up to 30% of the time
