As a Director of Plant Operations you will be responsible for planning, implementation, integration, liaison, and control activities on assigned projects.\u00a0 Primary objective is the successful execution of planned budgets and schedules while meeting contractual obligations.\u00a0 Experience in successful implementation of dust control projects or steel erection and fabrication experience is a plus.\r
Additional Responsibilities Include:\r
\tExperienced in maintaining accurate project budgets, and schedules.\u00a0 Basic accounting spread sheet knowledge.\u00a0 Understanding of welding processes, sheet metal and steel plate fabrication, and finishing.\u00a0 Basics of air filtration and conditioning.\u00a0 Microsoft Office,\u00a0 AutoCAD,\u00a0 Communication skills,\u00a0 Drafting fundamentals, People Skills, Project management time and resource management, basic financial accounting.\r
\tReview, interpret, communicate and negotiate contractual matters for Engineering and Project Management, including contract conditions and scopes of work.\r
\tNegotiate with key vendor\u2019s delivery/T&C\u2019s. Expedite vendors as necessary to insure schedules are maintained.\r
\tDevise effective Project Management performance measurements and review such problem areas with the manager and recommend alternative plans and solutions.\r
\tProvide overall test program integration and assurance.\u00a0 Evaluate impact of engineering changes on Projects.\u00a0 Recommend technical, cost and schedule trade-off opportunities.\r
\tDesign and implement effective visual displays and presentations consistent with the magnitude, complexity, and requirements of assigned programs which will provide management and customer with an overview of Project Management program plans, status and progress.\r
\tProvide information to management in support of the project proposal activity.\u00a0 Direct project activities in support of re-quoting, re-forecasts, and budgetary estimates for assigned contract programs.\r
Job Requirements\r
\tBachelor's degree, BSME preferred\r
\t3-5 years of experience project management.\r
\tExperience in coordinating with steel fabrication shops and steel erection companies.\r
\tExperience managing projects in the 1-10 million dollar range\r
\tTravel 35-50% over night required\r
