Job Description
 Kelly Scientific is currently recruiting for a Project Manager to work in a CRO facility. This position serves as a key client contact and works closely with external clients and internal functions to support the planning, implementation and analysis of experiments processed through the Redmond, WA facility. This is a temporary 9 month contract position. 5 years working in a lab environment and 1-2 years as a Project Manager is preferred.\r
\tResponsible for the conduct and reporting of projects of intermediate complexity to meet scientific, regulatory and client requirements.\r
\tManage multiple concurrent projects where multi-dimensional project management and scientific understanding is required.\r
\tProvide day-to-day project management oversight; effectively planning, coordinating and directing project related activities as the move through the laboratory with occasional mentorship and guidance from management to develop general expertise in the field.\r
\tFollow established study execution procedures. Identify opportunities for process improvement.\r
\tPrepare and communicate feasibility/development/validation plans and/or sample analysis outlines as required to clients for approval. Provide on-time delivery of high quality data and reports.\r
\tEnsure that all client expectations are documented and acted upon in compliance with regulatory requirements where applicable.\r
\tEnsure that applicable regulatory requirements are met during the planning and execution phases of a study and that the final report, including any changes, is approved and in compliance with appropriate SOPs and regulatory agency guidelines.\r
\tWork with cross-functional teams to coordinate/track deliverables, timelines and resource requirements. Maintain positive control over scheduling issues related to the study process.\r
\tLead and facilitate client project status meetings with responsibilities including agenda preparation, develop project tracking worksheets, prepare meeting summaries, etc.\r
\tCommunicate standard and non-conforming QC data to the client and facilitate resolution of QC-related issues.\r
\tEvaluate data for report preparation and experiment modification, as applicable and write comprehensive reports. Review technical validity of projects and results with occasional help from more experience scientists.\r
\tInitiate, review and approve (as appropriate) study plan deviations and study communication forms.\r
Qualifications: \r
\tBachelors of Science (BS) degree in science required (preferably biology or molecular biology).\r
\tMasters of Science (MS) degree desired.\r
\tA minimum of 6 years related experience in a laboratory environment, 1-2 years within the designated field of position.\r
\t1-2 years of Project Management or operational experience.\r
