SUMMARY The primary role of the Project Manager - Emissions Compliance is to support the compliance assurance program for emissions regulations for on-highway and non-road products across all the Oshkosh Corporation business segments. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience from the heavy truck, automotive or heavy construction equipment industry(s) and experience with US EPA, CARB, and\/or international regulatory experience. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare vocational truck certificate application documents for US EPA certification under the Greenhouse Gas Emission rules.\u00a0 Gather data and complete emission calculations using the Greenhouse Gas Emissions Model (GEM). Previous experience with the GEM model programs and tire rolling resistance measurement\/calculation is preferred.\u00a0 Assist in completion and checking for compliance activities, internal data tracking, and compliance assurance programs related to mobile source regulations in the US and other global markets. Maintain accurate and complete records to support powertrain supply agreements with suppliers (ex. Supplier certification, delegated final assembly agreements, etc.). Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvements related to compliance and certification.\u00a0 Develop, prepare and present briefings to both management and internal customers related to project status, direction, and performance. Support new product development projects to communicate regulatory requirements to project teams, analyze data, and create recommendations. Utilize continuous improvement and change management tools to facilitate process improvements.
