Project Manager, Acquisition Integration

The Project Manager, Acquisition Integration is responsible for managing the initiatives and related business elements in multiple merger and acquisition projects across national regional geographies. The Project Manager will plan and effectively manage all aspects of the project portfolio and the projects themselves, covering cost, schedule, scope, quality and project resources following the appropriate methodologies and insure the planning and cross functional integrations of acquired dental practices into our group of practices.

Collaborate with doctor and operations leadership to define and execute on acquisition integration priorities and goals.

Participate in the Due Diligence process regarding late stage acquisition targets to begin integrations process.

Work with the Business Development; develop the integration strategy and source of value plans that support delivering all the promised value of the deal.

Form and lead the cross-functional team including operations, human resources, IT and legal to create an integration project plan of 3-6 months.

Through a regular cadence of 1-on-1 meetings and team teleconferences, manage the project to keep the milestones on track and, using sound judgment and excellent teamwork skills, address any issues.

Manage a suite of management capabilities, including ongoing updates and executive level communication.

Support the team responsible for preparing detailed financial models, using income statements, balance sheets, and other relevant financial schedules provided by potential sellers of dental businesses.

Lead Integration reporting and analysis efforts, acting as a trusted source of insight.

Make presentations regarding project direction and recommendations to local leadership on integration initiatives.

Partner with leads from various departments to ensure the completion of integration work in a timely and efficient manner.

Develop the mechanism by which functional teams are brought up to speed on integration processes by leading bi-weekly, monthly and quarterly calls.

Required Skills

Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.

5-7 years of project management experience.

Corporate Development acquisitions experience in the healthcare or dental industry a plus.

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and adjust plans.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Ability to effectively interface with senior management.

Ability to influence and engage customers and peers.

Up to 20% national travel.
