As the Project Manager, Global Temperature Control & Engineering, you will direct projects for the Global Temperature Control Center of Excellence (COE) to develop work processes and solutions that integrate compliant product and customer delivery requirements into the distribution operation for J&J Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, and Consumer products.

Responsibilities:

• Direct, control and facilitate the Global Temperature Control COE objectives and plans to meet the tactical/strategic goals of the organization

• Oversee the implementation of projects utilizing project management tools to drive continuous improvement and cost savings programs/strategies to meet business requirements

• Provide leadership to assigned team members, ensuring timelines and compliance goals are met

• Serve as the Engineering authority for Global Temperature Control and ensure all activities and projects are aligned to COE goals and adhere to good engineering practices

• Support as the subject matter expert for the collection, analysis, and reporting of temperature data used to make science based decisions for the distribution of temperature sensitive products

• Liaise with individuals and global units within or outside his/her organization, with responsibility for acting independently on technical or business matters pertaining to his/her field

• Manage ongoing benchmarking and measurement systems for key continuous improvement processes, savings realization and customer satisfaction to achieve total cost of ownership

• Collaborate with all supply chain/franchise partners to standardize temperature control processes

• Develop policies and procedures pertaining to activities directed and participate in the formulation of compliant policies

• Demonstrate high-level multi-tasking and organizational skills and the ability to troubleshoot most issues

• Assist with the development and growth of employees globally

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; focused degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Life Sciences, or related field preferred

• Requires minimum of eight (8) years related experience

• Knowledge of temperature-sensitive distribution, transportation, or logistics is required

• Requires Project Management experience

• Experience interacting with and leading cross-functional teams on project initiatives is preferred

• PMP/FPX or other project management training or certification is helpful

• Experience working in a highly matrixed organization is preferred

• Demonstrated global mindset and partnering is preferred

• Knowledge of cGMPs, or international, federal, and local regulations for the manufacturing, storage and distribution of pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and/or OTCs is strongly preferred

• Demonstrated ability in drafting and creating technical documents is helpful

• Lean, Six Sigma, or Process Excellence methodologies experience, training, or certification preferred

• Intermediate proficiency with MS Office, including Excel is required; VLOOKUPS and pivot tables is a plus

• Knowledge or experience with DocSpace or TruVault is helpful

• Position located in Skillman, NJ, with consideration for other USA locations (NJ or PA strongly preferred)

• Requires up to 10% domestic and international travel
