Broader range of responsibilities; exercises more independence in day –to- day operations. Individual would generally support a senior construction manager or group. Duties would normally require in-depth knowledge of one or more software products or specialized knowledge of a particular administrative function or area. The individual will be responsible for working with client staff facilitating client procedural compliance.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

Performs a variety of administrative, document control and clerical support tasks for assigned specific project.

Gathers, compiles, tracks and reports all information relevant to project assignment from multiple sources

Sets up and maintains electronic data management system, files, refers callers, arranges meetings and conferences, receives, refers and answers mail

Reviews drafts and finish documents for grammar usage

Uses personal computer to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence and presentation

Compiles, reviews, and analyzes data: logs all drawings, schedules, RFI’s, specifications, product data, etc. into electronic data management system in support of construction

Ensures distribution of construction packages and that revised engineering data is being distributed accurately and in a timely manner, maintains document registers in filing system. Coordinates with construction management discipline leads, contractors, and field support during project execution.

Use reprographic equipment to produce/scan drawings and documentation.

The individual must be self-motivated, of good character maintaining confidentiality of project documentation and discussions.

The individual must have a friendly demeanor and supportive nature ensuring a professional execution of site requirements.


Training and Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience required, high school graduate or equivalent. Degree preferred.

Other Essential Functions: intermittent setting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, and lifting. Lifting requirements limited to 35 pounds. In the form of office supplies, drawings, etc. Longest distance of carry 100 feet. Hand manipulation is required for simple grasping, pushing and pulling, and fine manipulation. Right and/or left hands utilized. Occasional need to reach and/or work above the shoulders, for supplies, as well as below the shoulder for same. Must be alert to equipment in the office.
