Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (AdWords, AdSense, DoubleClick, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the voice of the product and help it grow a loyal consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

As a Product Marketing Manager, you will manage the complete partner marketing experience, from determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications. You will also work with a cross-functional teams across Sales, Corporate Communications, Legal, Product Development and Engineering to develop effective product marketing strategies from beginning to end.

Develop and execute on the global retail training and advocacy strategy for Google’s hardware products in the mobility category.

Manage the development of retail training curriculums and campaigns across multiple formats (e.g. video, presentations and online courses).

Develop innovative advocacy programs and interact with sales associates.

Build cross-functional relationships that lead to effective training and advocacy solutions, with partners including Product, Hardware Marketing, Hardware Sales, along with local and regional stakeholders in key markets.

Be the voice of our retail partners and sales associates to our global teams.


Minimum qualifications:

BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.

4 years of experience working in retail marketing, store planning, and/or account management.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience working in a marketing communications management capacity and familiarity with branding guidelines and visual merchandising (e.g. design, prototype, display, security, and store planning).

Experience in managing integrated communications and account/client relationship management.

Demonstrated knowledge across retail channels, including above/below the line marketing, on/offline merchandising, and partner media.

Demonstrated thought leadership and relationship management with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Excellent communications, project management and organizational skills.
