Supports product as a SME for projects, initiatives, marketing and sales. Provides research and analysis and makes recommendations used to improve product features, service, sales, marketing, processes, policies and procedures and/or negotiate with fund partners/vendors. Reports to VP and assists in the leadership of region.\u003Cbr\u003E\u003Cbr\u003EOpen to employees working from remote locations.\u003C/div\u003E\u003Cdiv\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EResponsibilities\u003C/strong\u003E\u003C/div\u003E\u003Cdiv\u003E- Participate in the development and maintenance of state/regional product performance accountability by performing quantitative competitive analysis and communicate analysis results to company management and stakeholders. Provide research and analysis and make recommendations used to improve product features, pricing, marketing, sales, service, processes and procedures.\u003Cbr\u003E- Analyze and manipulate large data extracts. Conduct quantitative competitive analysis for various states/region. Perform deep dive data analysis to evaluate product performance in various customer segments and territories. Provide rate proposals, resolution documents and implement rate system changes. If not already skilled, develop expertise on industry competitive analysis tools (e.g. Insurquote). Monitor and analyze results of auto and home products across various states.\u003Cbr\u003E- Develop recommendations for actions to improve performance or enable growth. Communicate analysis results to company management and stakeholders.\u003Cbr\u003E- Coordinate with various functional areas (underwriting, actuarial, claims) to understand drivers of performance and implement new processes.\u003Cbr\u003E- Research market trends and competitor pricing actions.\u003Cbr\u003E\u003Cbr\u003EOpen to employees working from remote locations.\u003C/div\u003E\u003Cdiv\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003ERequired Qualifications\u003C/strong\u003E\u003C/div\u003E\u003Cdiv\u003E- Bachelor's Degree.\u003Cbr\u003E- 3-5 years of relevant experience.\u003Cbr\u003E- Knowledge of property and casualty insurance practices, standards and concepts.\u003Cbr\u003E- Excellent problem solving, quantitative and analytical skills.\u003Cbr\u003E- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access or other data analysis tools (SAS, SQL).\u003Cbr\u003E- Exceptional communication, project management and leadership skills.\u003Cbr\u003E- Ability to think strategically and influence others.\u003Cbr\u003E- Entrepreneur mentality. \u003Cbr\u003E
