Description

As our Product Manager, you will support initiatives that enable Nike to increase productivity, realize efficiencies and build profitable customer experiences. If you're the one for this role, you'll be joining the Nike Technology organization. Nike Tech brings together technology and process expertise into one streamlined, consumer- and customer-oriented team. You'll be joining the team that delivers and supports the Integrated Planning function within Nike's Supply Chain as a member of the Supply & Inventory Planning team. These solutions enable Nike, Inc.'s businesses and brands worldwide. Our focus is on providing and supporting Lean solutions that eliminate waste, maximize customer value, and drive profitable business growth. In this role, you will:

• Provide people leadership.

• Participate in activities such as work planning, process development, resource optimization.

• Coordinate training and mentoring for new employees/team members.

• Interpret internal /external business challenges & recommend best practices to improve products, processes or services.

• Lead functional teams and/or large cross-functional projects.

• Lead others to solve complex problems.

• Provide broad perspective to identify innovative solutions.

• Anticipate customer needs, assesses requirements and identifies new solutions.

• Articulate difficult concepts and influence others to adopt differing points of view

• Manage projects or programs with moderate resource requirements, risk and/or complexity

• Perform work in support of brand plans

• Demonstrate link between daily work and company mission

• Participate in initiatives, programs or products with moderate visibility.

• Ensure actions protect company image and limits risks

• Make decisions and take actions in compliance with company policies

• Configure applications, SAP SCM APO-SP module, to meet Nike's business requirements.

• Co-operate with other functional and technical teams to produce the successful implementation of new end-to-end projects and solutions.

• Work with remote groups such as vendors, other Nike facilities, and or business departments to gather and document tactical requirements from the business.

• Participate and at times lead workshops with business and IT, providing technical consultancy and translating requirements into technology solutions.

• Ensure standards, processes, and policies are followed. Apply global process standards to regional technology solutions.

• Communicate and document system changes to the business. Translate system functionality into business relevant language.

• Identify system/process improvement opportunities and implement the changes where applicable.

Qualifications

To make it clear, we're not looking for just anyone. We're looking for someone special, someone who had these experiences and clearly demonstrated these skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or other relevant subject area

• Minimum of 6 years of experience working within IT in support of Supply Chain Operations

• SAP SCM - APO SNP expertise desired

• SAP SCM – Best of breed SCM Solutions and customization knowledge preferred

• Supply chain process experience required

• Experience with waterfall and agile project methodologies.

• Excellent analytical skills and ability to translate business functionality and opportunities into clear, precise and easy-to-read functional specifications critical

• Strong business acumen to quickly learn new consumer experiences (or business processes) and understand the technology requirements needed to support achieving revenue and profit goals

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment

• Flexible, ability to deal with ambiguity, and a demonstrated desire for continuous personal growth

• Ability to work with onshore/offshore teams, and communicate using virtual communication tools (phone, conferencing, online meeting)

• Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills to effectively communicate with both business and technical IT teams

• Experience with Lean principles and methods
