Product Manager (Hardlines Private Brands)

Job Description:

The primary purpose of this role is for the development and implementation of the product and brand strategy for an assigned portfolio. This includes responsibility for partnering with cross functional leadership to set portfolio objectives and lead activities including understanding the competitive landscape, target customer and end user insights, industry innovations, marketplace and category trends. This role is critical to Lowe's for ensuring strategic and tactical alignment throughout the organization and aligning the portfolio strategy with brand strategy and Lowe's business objectives.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Develops deep portfolio expertise and identifies actionable insights and opportunities to accomplish portfolio objectives

• Guides the creation of product requirements including specifications, features, benefits, industrial and mechanical design, quality, warranty, an brand

• Drives the development and execution of the go to market new product messaging plan in an Omni-channel environment, with a heavy focus on digital brand perception and content quality

• Develops a strategy to connect complementary categories

• Fosters strong cross functional relationships to support the development of an aligned go-to-market product plan message

• Leverages portfolio expertise to provide insight, influence, and strategy to merchandising in scoping and prioritizing new product and brand opportunities

• Aligns portfolio product strategy with the brand strategy and Lowe's business objectives

Required Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree Marketing, Business Administration, Design, Engineering or related field and 5 years experience in marketing, product management, or brand management

3 years experience developing and executing multigenerational product plans, including Omni-channel marketing plans, business strategies, and new product development

3 years experience leading cross-functionally without formal authority
