Product Manager Overview
The Product Commercialization Manager is a critical role, responsible for driving the delivery of new and existing products and functionality to First Data’s clients, through various distribution systems and across market segments. This role will require extensive leadership and collaboration with stakeholders from across both First Data and our partners, including product management, sales, marketing, training, client support, legal, compliance, risk, finance and technology. The Manager must develop and share knowledge of the various First Data platforms and tools. The Product Commercialization Manager role requires strong communication skills, verbal and written, given the significant interaction with the company’s and partners’ senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities will include: Leverage current Process, Framework, Playbook and tools used by Product Managers across the company to commercialize new products and re-launch existing products - Provide leadership, guidance and support to facilitate rapid and successful product launches - Plan and ensure execution of commercialization and sales readiness activities - Optimize time to revenue for new products and maximize market penetration for existing products.
Continue to develop/enhance and institutionalize the Go-To-Market framework including process, activities and timeline for product launches and delivery of new functionality to client. - Develop/enhance the process, tools and communication vehicles to engage all product management teams and functional groups to support seamless end-to-end product delivery - Define and communicate the steps and required key elements to deliver bundled product portfolios and unbundled solutions Lead cross-functional plans and execution for a holistic approach to market penetration - Engage the key functional teams in defining the requirements necessary for a seamless client experience - Ensure coordinated delivery in the optimal timeframe and sequence Partner with Product, Sales and Support teams from within First Data and our partners to ensure clear communication and timely engagement of commercialization activities - Ensure that market segments are well defined and that the functional teams are appropriately engage. - Define key elements and tactics in consultation with distribution systems (sales channels) to create new product launch strategies Recruit, lead and coach talent, creating a strong team which can lead and execute across products, functions and distribution systems.

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
1-5 years of product and or project management experience.
