Job Description DuPont's InterconnectSolutions (IS) is a global manufacture of a broad array of high performancefilms, laminate materials, and printed circuit board processing materials usedin the electronic industry. Our productsare used extensively in aircraft, automotive, high speed trains, personalelectronics, and military equipment. Manufacturingfacilities consist of polymer manufacturing, film casting, high temperaturelamination, chemical mixing and numerous converting operations such as coating,heat treatment, and extensive slitting operations. IS is looking for ProjectManagers to lead the development and launch of new products in our growthmarkets. The Project Manager will be responsible,while working with the business team, for all aspects of developing andimplementing large growth products from original concept through commercialsales consistent with the business growth strategy. Individuals who have astrong track record of success in product line and marketing are encouraged toapply What do weexpect from you? Manage and lead product development projects composed of teamsacross multiple sites, business segments and functions chartered to deliver anew product at the pace of the market life cycle. Initiate projects following appropriate project managementmethodology including gathering and defining comprehensive projectrequirements, ensuring for strategic alignment, developing project charter,project plans, budgets and schedules, determining staffing requirements, andforming cross-functional project teams. Define and follow project management methods, procedures, andquality objectives, including metrics for assessing progress. Balance workload, provide technical and analytical guidanceand work direction to project team, including scheduling, assignment of work,reviews of project efforts, and removal of roadblocks which inhibit projectsuccess. Coordinate with the functionalmanagement for resources required to complete tasks. Ensure all team members have the tools and training requiredto perform effectively. Provide the teamwith constructive feedback as it pertains to project performance. Assess variances from the project plans, budgets andschedules, develop and implement changes as necessary to ensure that theproject remains within specified scope and is within time, cost, and qualityobjectives, and keep management aware of the situation. Identify potential areas for improvement in current projectmanagement methodologies and provide coaching to project team members andbusiness managers. Maintain appropriate professional training and practices andup-to-date knowledge of current information technology techniques and tools. Location: Circleville, OH is the preferred location with Wilminton, DE being secondary. However, location IS negotiable for this role. Job Qualifications What do we needfrom you? To be qualified forthis role, you must possess the following:\u00a0 Bachelors or higher degree in Engineering or Science relatedfield 5 years\u2019 project manager experience leading process orproduct type projects 3 years\u2019 operations, manufacturing technical, six sigma, or marketingleadership experience 3 years\u2019 experience with financial analysis, business, andproduct line performance measures Experience in risk and change management Experience in a \u201cinfluence management\u201d role or relatedinternal consultancy role Strong knowledge of project management techniques, tools, andmanagement techniques Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Strong base capability in analytical and datarelated tools (excel, power point, MS project).
