SUMMARYWorking independently, Procurement Manager has overall responsibility for sourcing and supplying gaming refurbishment components and gaming accessories. Associates in the role will be responsible for developing and implementing appropriate sourcing strategies to achieve the best cost, service and right quality. They will have in-depth market knowledge for the assigned commodities and is able to identify the right suppliers and independently manage the end to end sourcing processes from RFx to contract closure. The role owns supply management for the assigned commodities and implements processes to ensure supply plans meet demand. They will also own supplier relationship and has overall responsibility for supplier performance, review and continuous improvements. Working in a team environment, the manager will work cross-functionally to ensure sourcing results meet business needs and resolve issues timely when they arise. Associate will interact with his or her supervisor as needed by either. Most activities are completed without a supervisor's advance approval.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*
Work with business partners within GameStop's Product Refurbishment, Supply Chain, Pre-Owned/accessory Merchandising teams to develop requirements for necessary supplies, remanufacturing components, equipment, and services.
Develop appropriate sourcing strategies for assigned commodities and drive implementation
Drive sourcing activities for assigned commodities including RFQs, contract closure and business awards
Identify qualified providers for required products and/or services with consideration to both domestic and off-shore vendors
Negotiate with vendors and select providers to deliver cost-effective procurement solutions for cross-functional stakeholders throughout the organization
Create, implement, and oversee a supplier management program including metrics, quality/performance goals, and improvement processes
Adhering to Total cost of Ownership (TCO) strategy
Work with team and supply base to identify and drive cost reduction initiatives and accomplish annual cost reduction target
Manage and negotiate contracts. Ensure procurement practices adhere to GameStop compliance policy and procedures
Work closely with production, merchandising and finance team to ensure demand planning processes are being followed
Lead team to develop supply plans to meet production demand and ensure POs are issued on time to support the supply plan
Work with team and supply base to drive recovery plan when there are product shortages and pro-actively communicate status to impacted teams
Work with logistics provider to track shipment delivery and make sure supply plan reflects delivery accurately
Set up and deliver weekly reports that accurately reflect the supply status on assigned commodities
Lead weekly business interlock meetings with production team
Participate in weekly business round-table meetings and drive agenda related to demand/supply management
Set up a regular report on aging and excess inventory. Work cross-functionally to drive mitigation actions
Identify and drive continued improvement opportunities that lead to higher efficiency on PO and supply plan execution
Actively involved in critical supplier development program, provide inputs to supplier performance on supply management and implement actions to drive improvements
Complete ad-hoc analyses, reporting and special projects as needed, within the general scope of this role
Supervise and lead the Procurement team including job growth, performance management and career development
Ensure that existing Sarbanes-Oxley controls are redefined as processes and systems change

BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE)
Bachelor's degree from an accredited program in supply chain management, electrical or mechanical engineering discipline; master's degree preferred

At least seven (7) total years of experience in procurement, with at least 5 years on Asia sourcing for mechanical or electrical components
At least 3 years of people management experience
Certified Professional in Supply Management or Certified Purchasing Manager preferred
Experience directly sourcing materials and supplies, from both domestic and foreign sources
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES

Expert analytical skills and proficiency in the use of PC software tools for reports, analysis, audits, and presentations

Occasional (less than 10%) International/Domestic travel to manufacturing/supplier sites is required
