In this role you will have the opportunity to interface proactively with various internal cross-functional team members and suppliers, in order to ensure that localization project activities are completed on-time, at optimal pricing, and with high quality. In addition, you will be eager to initiate and drive closure to continuous improvement initiatives that support both New Product Development and on-going manufacturing needs.

You are responsible for

The Localization Analyst is responsible for the following key activities:

Proactively communicates and manages localization project timelines with key stakeholders and suppliers.

Champions continuous improvement of localization processes and labeling specifications cross-functionally.

Ensures systems are continuously updated with current project information (e.g., delivery status, quality, cost).

Provides cost and time estimates in support of budgetary planning for New Product Development activities.

Identifies opportunities for achieving cost savings, through areas such as process optimization, automation, and competitive bidding.

Provides timely feedback to vendors, in order to improve performance across key performance indicator (KPI) metrics.

You will be a member of the Procurement team within the Sleep & Respiratory Care business of Philips. The Localization Analyst interfaces routinely with Technical Writers, Project Managers, Product Managers, Procurement team members, Regulatory Management, and suppliers in support of localization activities that support both the launch of new products as well as on-going manufacturing of products.

Skills and experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering or a related field is strongly preferred.

Knowledge of procurement processes is required.

Experience in managing multiple project priorities with stakeholders is required.

Strong knowledge of word processing software and page layout is required.

Knowledge of requirements in an FDA-regulated industry is preferred.

Experience with SAP, SharePoint development, InDesign, Content Management systems, eSourcing tools and/or MS Access development are a plus.

Experience in LEAN process improvements and/or Six Sigma are a plus.
