Procurement Analyst

We are looking for an intelligent, highly motivated, positive, results-oriented individual to join our Procurement Team. The Procurement team is responsible for sourcing all direct and indirect materials for NVR. This team works across all functional areas within NVR and NVR’s supply base to drive improvement in quality, service, efficiency and cost.

As a Procurement Analyst, you will work closely with various NVR departments and external business partners to collect and review data, create reports, and manage specified projects that results from the business analytics.

Primary Responsibilities

Gather and review data, through the use of NVR systems and databases, to include data on vendor performance, NVR spend, cost metrics, and other Procurement metrics.

Create usable reports and executive summaries, as well as make recommendations to the Procurement Team based on data collected.

Manage specified projects to drive improvements to the business for cost, service, delivery, and back office efficiencies.

Identify opportunities for cost reduction or best practices resulting from data analytics and support the implementation of these opportunities.

Collaborate with senior NVR leadership and key corporate financial analysts to ensure alignment of data and reporting

Present reports and material to NVR leadership and external business partners.

Develop working knowledge of NVR's computer systems to become the subject matter expert in these systems for the Procurement Team.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required (Business or Finance preferred)

High level of attention to detail

Well-developed problem solving and analytical skills

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Strong interpersonal skills and an effective communicator

High energy with the ability to multi-task and prioritize

Ability to work with a variety of different departments

Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and requirements

Proficient in Microsoft software (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint)
