Job Summary & Responsibilities:

Raymond James is hiring a Private Wealth Cash

Strategies Product Manager to define and lead the strategy for the cash

management platform.  This includes the

coordination of various stakeholder departments such as Fixed Income, Mutual

Funds research, Wealth Solutions, Asset Management, and other areas throughout

the firm along with the alignment of technology and resources in support of

financial advisors.

 

The ideal contributor will:

Lead

other professionals in product management, communication of strategy

development, technology strategy, market analysis and internal advocacy for the

cash management platform.Lead

multiple projects with significant scope or impact and serves as an advisor on

larger internal products.Have

extensive contact with senior management and internal customers

 

Essential Duties and

Responsibilities:

Support

strategy development, analysis of profitability drivers, product integration,

technology and product development for various components of the cash

management strategy initiative. Lead

development projects for new tools and resources including operational

improvements and advisor facing technology enhancements; act as a conduit for

advisor needs and best practices.Serves

as point of contact for technology, marketing, business decision and strategy

development.Perform

market research, identify market segments, develops product specifications and

incorporates requirements into planning processes.Actively

engage with financial advisors to support business development initiatives and

client prospecting efforts.Oversee

the development of communication and marketing plans for the different

components of the cash management strategy.  Advocates

the growth and utilization of cash management resources and products throughout

the firm.Coordinate

with various departments to implement strategies and tactical plans across

organizational lines.Develops

and delivers presentations to groups, both at home office and conferences.Manage

the relationships with cash management related vendors and surveys the

competitive landscape for potential solutions. Support

Raymond James cash initiatives at industry organizations and conferences.Provides

analysis and reports on key success metrics for senior management.  Determines

data requirements, captures metrics to evaluate process capability and performs

cost/benefits analyses.  Analyzes

business processes and identifies process improvement opportunities.Prepares

reports of findings and options for organizational, process and systems design

changes and develops business cases to support project recommendations.Generates

policies and procedures paralleling the company’s strategic plan.Assist

in researching and resolving escalated customer complaints.Assists

in analyzing process improvement recommendations to ensure business cases are

sound and that all options are addressed and potential risks identified.  Performs

other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Advanced

principles, practices, concepts and procedures of investment management,

marketing and product management.

Financial advisor business models, profitability drivers, and sales management

strategies.Industry

regulations related to marketing financial services.

Financial markets and products.

Financial

analysis and projections. Performing

market research, identifying market segments and specifying product

requirements.Operating

standard office equipment and using required software applications to produce

documents such as presentations, reports, graphics, electronic communication,

spreadsheets, and databases.Critical

oral and written communications sufficient to convey details on SBL product and

processes with all organizational levels, including retail lending, bank and

PCG management.Word processing,

spreadsheet and typing sufficient to produce spreadsheets with basic formulas

and business form letters and memos.Operating

standard office equipment and using required software applications.

Educational/Previous Experience

Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree

(BA) in finance, marketing or business administration with a minimum of six (6)

years in the financial service industry. Practical knowledge of the concepts of

investment management and retirement planning.

combination of experience, education, and/or training as approved by Human

Resources.

 

Licenses/Certifications:

FINRA Series 7 Required.

 

Travel: Up to 25%
