Job DescriptionAmazon is looking for an exceptional Print Designer to join their devices marketing team. In this role, you will be creating a variety of printed retail assets used to engage and attract customers in store, as well as inform customers post-purchase. You will be working alongside a global team of designers, writers, and production teams to deliver your designs. At Amazon, we strive to be Earth\u2019s most customer-centric company. In addition to strong design skills, a candidate must have strong organizational skills, print & retell expertise, typographic skills, and acute attention to detail. Responsibilities

Create merchandising and marketing campaigns that elevate Amazon\u2019s device brand across multiple offline channels
Understand and respond to performance data (metric tests, usability studies), and steer the direction of future creative designs
Understand user experience best practices for in-store & interactive displays
Use current and future marketing channels to inform and delight our customers
Present and defend visual and architectural design solutions to leadership & business partners
Collaborate with the Amazon design community at large to ensure consistent brand use across multiple marketing channels
Grow team knowledge of best design practices and trends in graphic design

Basic Qualifications

An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating print marketing and advertising, retail and in-store displays, or interactive retail display work
5 years of experience in retail, digital display signage, out of home advertising, or retail display and merchandising design
Experience managing multiple projects with varying deadlines
Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and other image-optimizing applications to create online user experiences
Bachelor's degree in design or 5 years professional experience

Preferred Qualifications

Pixel-perfect attention to detail
Work in an iterative environment, across teams and synthesize feedback from multiple teams/owners
Deep understanding of retail design and architecture needs
Experience with typesetting in a variety of languages
Expert level photo retouching skills
Ability to work independently with printers and production houses to troubleshoot technical and process-related issues
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills and the ability to gracefully defend your design decisions to executive management
Illustration experience
Motion graphics and / or relevant animation experience
