Job Summary
The Principal Software Engineer works with a team of developers, QA and documentation staff in the development of the new voice assistance products for the doctors, nurses and administrative medical staff to streamline workflows with industry leading electronic medical records systems. The candidate will be a self-starter and will work on multiple deliverables with dynamic schedules in an Agile Scrum environment.
 
Self-starter, works independently and as a leader with multiple teams, design solutions and new features focused on a voice assistant for the medical market. Specific tasks include the definition of voice interactions and the NLU rules required to configure Nuance\u2019s Natural Language Understanding engine and the handling of results to be pass back to voice enabled client applications.
 
Education: BS in computer science or related discipline; MS preferred
 
Minimum Experience: 10 years
 
Required Skills: 

10 years of experience developing commercial Windows applications
Strong C#, .NET and ASP.NET experience
Solid skills with RESTful web services
Solid JavaScript skills
Experience with Azure cloud deployments
Scripting skills with Python, Perl or similar
Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Preferred Skills:

Experience with JavaScript running in IE, Chrome and Edge.
Experience with Agile Scrum
Experience with iOS or Android mobile development
Experience with Windows development
Experience with Google, Amazon or Microsoft NLU solutions.
