 Press Operator - set up and operate mechanical press, inspect parts and assemblies for quality per blueprints and manufacturing specifications.


Monitors and measures parts coming off the press to ensure they are withing required specifications.

Makes adjustments such as adjusting and tightening hold down bolts, die springs and pins, adjusting straightening rolls, guides, feeder roll pressure, feed length to maintain quality of parts, etc.

Monitors continuous operation of press for proper feed of material from roll feed equipment in to die.

Loads coil material and threads through roll feed equipment.

Makes repairs and completes preventative maintenance for proper machine operation.

Maintains operation of parts washer and lube tank.

Observes all safety rules.

Supports team objectives.

Must be able to train on 1st shift.

Other duties as assigned.

Desired Experience

Must be able to perform lockout and tagout.

Able to perform quality checks with dial calipers.

Maintain press operations.

Strong mechanical aptitude.

Must be able to work weekends as needed.

Must be able to work overtime as needed.

Forklift license is required.


High School Diploma or equivalent
