Practice Project Risk Advisor

National Construction Project Risk Practice – responsible for the growth, placement and servicing of project risk related insurance and controlled insurance programs.

* Supports Practice Leader with all CIP and construction related deliverables

* Active participant in transition plan, kick-off planning meeting, creation of the service plan, renewal strategy meetings and annual stewardship meeting

* Designs and markets program for clients on all casualty-related coverages, builder’s risk, professional, and railroad protective liability placements

* Consults with Practice Leader and the client on program design, pricing, financial and coverage analysis and placement

* Binds coverage at the direction of the client and reviews all binders and policies

* Trusted Advisor to clients and team members

* Active participant with proposals and presentations for prospective clients

* Ensures that the service plan is being implemented and executed

* Consults on risk management issues such as but not limited to contracts, policies, agreements between client and contractors, subcontractors, adjacent property owners, other entities, federal agencies, independents, etc.

They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following, and adhering to and if applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements./

Required Qualifications:

* 5+ years of insurance experience

Desired Qualifications:

* Experience managing moderately complex commercial property and casualty accounts

* Experience effectively marketing to carriers and customers

* Experience developing and maintaining strong working relationships with customers and prospects

* Intermediate Microsoft Office skills

* Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

* Ability to be flexible and adjust plans quickly to meet changing business needs

* Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

* Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills

* Ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulations

* Property & Casualty Insurance Licenses

* Ability to provide strong customer service while listening, eliciting information, and comprehending customer issues

* Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important

* Designated insurance license requirements must be completed within 180 days of hire date. Compliance with state law requirements is required.
