Description

This full time position will assist Customers and Internal/External business partners by providing service on Disability Income policies. This hybrid position will support our Disability Income 800# and provide one contact resolution by processing quotes billing changes etc. in addition to processing service requests via mail and fax. Incumbent will support Disability Income in completing numerous types of policy requests to include but not limited to:, duplicate policies, cancellations, surrenders and changes. Under minimal supervision, respond to inquiries from policyholders, field force and home office staff via 800# telephone, correspondence and personal contact. Address topics including policy provisions; company procedures; requirements for processing policy changes, cancelations, reinstatements and payment changes. Handle policyholder complaints/problems and ensure that problems are resolved and action steps are communicated to policyholder.

Basic Requirements:

Strong knowledge of company products – Disability Income

Ability to interpret policy provisions, and knowledge of administrative practices relating to company procedures

Ability to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Requirements:

Excel

College Degree

Customer Service Experience 2 Years
