About this role

Medical Conditions we provide solutions for include: Cardiovascular Diseases, Coronary Artery Disease, Acute Myocardial Infarction. We are able to provide a number of solutions to patients that include: Drug-Eluting Stents, Bare-Metal Stents, Catheters, Balloons, Guide Wires, Coronary Atherectomy and Coronary Intravascular Ultrasound. The Physician Training Specialist develops and implements TAVR training programs and tools to support in-house and external product training events.  Provides clear and concise information to employees/customers to give them a basic understanding of the technology, clinical research and directions for use.

 

Your responsibilities include:

*Develops approach, scope, and methodology of training materials to maximize impact and minimize training time by determining the target audience, time and location requirements and other applicable factors. *Remains aware of all changes that may impact training requirements by seeking out information that may change the clinical/commercial process and implementing changes/improvements to training protocols and materials accordingly. *Works with the Management to ensure that post-training results meet organizational targets and expectations by collecting and analyzing post-training data. *May monitor and update training requirements and records.

 

What we're looking for:

Basic Qualifications

*Bachelor's degree required in Engineering, Life Science area *6+ years of engineering, medical education, training, or medical affairs *Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft office suite, especially MS Word and PowerPoint

*Must be willing to travel 50% to medical meetings, hospitals, and/or other BSC facilities

 

Preferred Qualifications

*RN or Masters Preferred in a related field *Cardiovascular, peripheral, and/or structural heart experience *Excellent written and verbal communication *Strong skills in building solid rapport with physicians *Strong interpersonal skills to enable cross function and cross franchise success *High sense of urgency and commitment to physician training execution *Ability to translate voice of customer and market dynamics into the organization *Must have the ability to manage simultaneous priorities, changing deadlines, and limited resources
